I have been creating logon skins recently and I was starting a new project. I clicked the box with the dots to remove the dividers and "Run Time Error 53" came up and logon studio closed. It didn't even save me work. It also happens when I try and change the background. Any help?

roadrunnerm , Did you perhaps just do a spyware scan, or AV scan? runtime error 53 jpgutils.dll missing is that the error your getting?

If so what you will have to do is go into your AV software and *Allow jpgutils.dll or exclude it..whichever the case, the same goes for your spyware prog..

Re-install Logon studio and you should be fine..

Hope this works for ya,

i figured it out, thx though. after reinstalling it i realized that i created a folder to be more organized and moved all my logon studio stuff into the folder but never changed the path in logon studio. anyways, it works now so i am happy

Hmmmm..I would say that

is probably more than likely what fixed it..if it were a simple misplacement then you would have gotten an error message in that regard..but Error 53 is not that message..

I am glad it works for ya, just keep in mind that Jpgutls.dll is recognized as a keylogger by AV software and perhaps some spyware proggies..without that DLL you lose the ability to create logons..

Anyway,
Have fun!,

i think when reorganizing my folders, i moved it somewhere else and logon studio couldn't find it. i havn't really found any virus's in the past 4 months

Ok cool..::laughs:: it really isnt a virus..Nortons recognize's it as a keylogger and some spyware toolz remove it also, so I have read.. I personally have dealt with this situation recently thats the only reason I knew about it..
